Born on June 28, 1957 in the village of Hoktember in the Hoktemberyan region (now Armavir province).

1975 - 1977 - Served in the Soviet Army.

1984 - Graduated from the Faculty of Knitted Goods of the Leninakan branch of the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute. Engineer technologist.

1978 - 1999 - Worker, accountant, chief of mine, Deputy Director, Director and President of the Council in the Hoktemberyan (Armavir) Construction Materials Complex (“Construction Materials” LLC).

1999 - 2003 - Member of the National Assembly (electoral district #40). Member of the Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of the “Unity” faction. Non - partisan.

2003 - 2007 - Deputy of the National Assembly (electoral district #30). Member of the Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of the RPA faction. Non - partisan.

2007 - 2012 - Member of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, RPA).

June 19, 2007 - July 11, 2008 - Member of the Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs of the National Assembly.

July 11, 2008 - May 31, 2012 - Member of the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Environment of the National Assembly. Member of the RPA faction. RPA member.

2012 - 2017 - Elected Member of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the Republican Party of Armenia.

Member of the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Environment of the National Assembly. Member of the “Republican” RPA faction. RPA member.

April 2, 2017 - Elected Member of the National Assembly by the territorial electoral list of the electoral district #6 of the RPA.

2006 - Awarded a commemorative Medal by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

2010 - Awarded “St. Grigor Lusavorich” high Order of Honour (Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin).
