Born on September 30, 1973 in Yerevan.

1994 - graduated from the Combat Sports faculty of the Armenian State Institute of Physical Training. He is a judo coach, teacher of physical training, candidate of pedagogical sciences, senior professor.

1994-1995 - served in the Armed forces of the Republic of Armenia.

1995-2001  - worked in the Armenian State Institute of Physical Training as professor.  2001-2007  - worked as assistant (senior professor), 2002-2004 - worked as head of the division of Foreign Relations. 2011 - docent.

He is an author of 20 scientific articles, theses and a school textbook.

On May 12, 2007 he was elected as a Deputy of the National Assembly by proportional electoral system from the Heritage party. He is a member of the Heritage party board.

He is married with two children.
