Born on November 22, 1959 in Yerevan.

1981 - 1982 - Served in the Soviet Army.

1980 - Graduated from the Yerevan Institute of National Economy. Economist.

1980 - 1981 - Economist at cement plant in Rybnytsia city (Moldova.)

1983 - 1986 - Senior econ­omist in the “Hayelectramechmat” complex of the Masis region.

1987 - 2000 - Had his own busi­ness.

1992 - 1995 - Worked in Moscow.

1997 - 1999 - President of the Arsoil AC CJSC and “Hayagrobank” Councils.

1999 - 2001 - Vice President of the Intergovernmental Association of Agricultural Production Banks.

2007 - 2012 - Political and entrepreneurial activity.

1989 - Membership to the Independent Army.

1990 - 1994 - Member of the Republican Party of Armenia.

1991 - 1992 - Member of the RPA Political Council.

2002 - Founded and heads the United Labour party.

2003 - 2007 - Deputy of the National Assembly (proportional electoral system, ULP.) Member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly. Deputy Chair of the Commission on Legal Affairs of CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, member of the commission of PACE political Affairs. Head of the faction of “United Labour Party.”

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the “Prosperous Armenia” party.

1998 - Awarded the Moscow 850th Anniversary Medal.

2005 - Awarded CIS Inter- parliamentary Assembly Medal of “Cooperation.”

2006 - Awarded the first grade Medal "For Services to the Motherland.”
