Born on May 1, 1959 in Yerevan.

1986 - Graduated from the Yerevan Institute of National Economy.

2000 - Graduated from Yerevan State University. Economist. Lawyer.

1985 - 1990 - Economist, Head of stores in the “Haykhoghovakar” Department.

1992 - 1993 - General Director of the “Haymetaghar” Company.

1993 - 1995 - Director of Yerevan Sweets and Pasta Factory.

1995 - 1999 - President of “Hayhroushak” OJSC.

1990 -1995 - Deputy of the Supreme Council (electoral district #4.) Member of the “Republic” deputy group.

1995 - 1999 - Deputy of the National Assembly (electoral district #4.) Member of the “Republic” faction, member of the “Yerkrapah” deputy group.

1999 - 2003 - Deputy of the National Assembly (electoral district #23.) Member of the Standing Committee of State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of the “Unity” faction.

2003 - 2007 - Deputy of the National Assembly (electoral district #12.) Member of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly. Member of the “Republican Party of Armenia” faction.

2007 - 2012 - Deputy of the National Assembly   (proportional electoral system, PAP.) June 19, 2007 - May 31,2012 - Member of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly.

May 6, 2012 - Elected Deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the "Prosperous Armenia" party.

Married, with two children.
