1986 - Graduated from the Faculty of History and Geography of the Kh.Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical Institute. Teacher.

1979 - 1981 - Worker at Armavir (Hoktemberyan) conglomerate of household appliances.

1986 - 1988 - Teacher at general school in Bambakashat village in Hoktemberysn region.

1988 - 1990 - Administrator at the same school.

1990 - 1991 - Teacher at general school #10 in the town of Hoktemberyan.

1990 - Elected Deputy of the City Council of Hoktemberyan of the National Deputies of the first convocation.

1991 - 1995 - Executive Secretary of the Executive Committee of the City Council of Hoktemberyan.

1995 - 1996 - First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the City Council of Hoktemberyan.

1996 -1998 - Advisor to the RegionalGovernor of Armavir.

1998 - 1999 - Head of the Department for the Coordination for Province Services of Local Self Government Bodies and Public Executive Bodies of Armavir Regional Administration.

1996 - 1999 - Chairman of the Armavir Province Electoral Commission.
