He was born on October 21, 1970 in Yerevan.
He graduated from the faculty of Technology of Fermentation Production and Wine Making of the Armenian Agricultural Academy.
In 1988-1989 he served in the Soviet Army.
In 1989-2005 he was involved in entrepreneurship activity. In 2005-2007 he was director of #1 sport school of Arabkir community.
On May 12, 2007 he was elected as a deputy of the National Assembly from electoral district # 4.
He is married, has two children.
