Hrant MADATYAN



He was born on May 24, 1964 in the village Tsovagyugh of Gegharkunik region.

In 1989 he graduated from the extra-mural courses of the Agronomic faculty of the Armenian Agricultural Institute.

In 1982-1984 he served in the Soviet Army.

In 1984-1985 he worked in the Tsovagyugh Soviet economy as a worker, in 1985-1986 - as a deputy director. In 1986-1987 He was the head of the state inspection of the plants’ quarantine of Sevan and Hrazdan regions. In 1987- 1991 he was a full-time secretary of the party organization committee of Tsovagyugh Soviet economy. In 1993-1995 he worked as a deputy director of RA Civil Aviation department Touravia state enterprise. In 1995 - 2004 he was the director of Sevan-Motel state closed joint stock company (SCJSC), in 2004-2007 - director of Sevan-Motel CJSC.

In 1983-1991 he was a member of the Soviet Union Communist party.

In 1986-1991 he was a deputy of Sevan Regional Council.

On May 12, 2007 he was elected as a deputy of the National Assembly from the electoral district # 23.

He is married, has five children.
