Misha STEPANYAN



He was born on February 24, 1949 in the city of Martuni in Gegharkunik marz.

In 1976 he graduated from Yerevan Cattle-Breeding and Veterinary Institute. He is a Candidate of Agricultural Sciences.

1968-1970 he served in the Soviet Army.

In 1976 he worked as a zootechnician-breeder in the animal husbandry of the Yerevan city Soviet. 1977-1989 he worked as a chief zootechnician in the wool republican laboratory. 1989-1997 he worked director in the Ararat wool factory of preliminary remaking. 1997-2001 he worked as general director of the Haygorg association. 2001-2007 he worked executive director of the Armen-Carpet OJSC. 2005-2006 he carried out the programme of the Service on the Specialized Study of the Unemployed and Invalids.

On May 12, 2007 he was elected a deputy of the National Assembly by the proportional electoral system from the Republican Party of Armenia.

He is married and has three children.
