ON THE AMENDMENTS TO BE MADE IN THE LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE ARMENIA ON REFUGEES

(f) he/she entered the RA from the territory of the country, where there was no reasons for well-founded fear of becoming victim of persecution, and he/she could have been granted refugee status.
(g) he/she denies to give necessary information or provides false information about himself/herself or about the details of his/her entry to the RA
(h) he/she is legally married to the RA citizen
(i) he/she has got the residence permit in the RA, in accordance with the RA Law on Legal Status of Aliens in the RA.
Article 2. To amend Article 12 with the part 7 having the following content:
"Refugee status shall be granted for the period of three years. After expiration of this period it shall be extended for granting refugee status, by the manner prescribed in the law. If the conditions based on which he/she was recognized as a refugee are not existing any more, then the person looses refugee status."
Article 3. To add "(except during the local self-governmental elections)" after the words "voting rights" in the 8th part of Article 18 of this Law.
Article 4. To amend Article 20 of the Law with the points "g", "h", having the following content:
(g) has left for permanent residence outside the territory of RA
(h) the term stipulated in sub-section 7 of article 12 has expired
Article 5. This Law enters into force after the official publication.
