Article 1. Paragraph 3 of Article 141 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Armenia “Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly” of December 16,2016, LA-9-Н (hereinafter - Law) shall be stated as follows:

“3. Nominations to vacancies of judges of the Constitutional Court shall be made in turn: - the President of the Republic, the General Meeting of Judges and the Government within a month after a vacancy for a judge of the Constitutional Court, and in case of expiration of powers or reaching the age limit for tenure of a judge of the Constitutional Court: - within a month after receiving relevant information from the President of the Constitutional Court.”.

Article 2. The first sentence of part 3 of article 142 of the Law shall be stated as follows:

“3. The Supreme Judicial Council shall nominate a candidate for the Chairperson of the Court of Cassation, in a written application addressed to the Chairperson of the National Assembly by a procedure established by the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Armenia "Judicial Code of the Republic of Armenia" within ten days from the date of expiration of the term of the office for the Chairperson of the Court of Cassation and in case his/her office is vacant for other reasons, within one month.”.

Article 3. The first sentence of paragraph 3 of Article 143 of the Law shall be stated as follows:

“3. The Supreme Judicial Council shall nominate candidates for Judges of the Court of Cassation, in a written application addressed to the Chairperson of the National Assembly by a procedure established by the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Armenia "Judicial Code of the Republic of Armenia" within ten days from the date of expiration of the term of the office for the Chairperson of the Court of Cassation and in case his/her office is vacant for other reasons: within one month.”. 

 Article 4. This Law shall enter into force on the tenth day following the day of its official promulgation.
