“I learnt with deep grief over the untimely death of the Honorary Culture of the Republic of Armenia, beloved singer Nadezhda Sargsyan.

Nadezhda Sargsyan was one of the brightest figures of the Armenian variety song art, and whose nice performing was waiting everybody. They were also applauding her on the stages in dozens of countries of the world, where with such devotion she was presenting the Armenian composers’ created works.

She was living not only with the cultural, but also with the active public life, was also elected Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

Nadezhda Sargsyan had also contribution in the development of the children’s song art in Armenia. Due to the contests created by her she revealed numerous little talents and passed her gift and skills to them during the years of running Yerevan State College of Culture. And we will always remember our beloved singer not only by her beautiful songs, but also every time being happy with her students’ new successes.

I offer my deepest condolences to Nadezhda Sargsyan’s family members and relatives and share their grief,” the condolence message by the RA NA President Ara Babloyan reads.
