“Dear compatriots,

Dear members of the Armenian General Athletic Union,

I congratulate all of you on the 100^th jubilee of the establishment of the Pan-Armenian Junior ancient and greatest structure.

The Armenian General Athletic Union was born in Constantinople, and it tried to gather around itself and preserve the pieces miraculously saved from the Armenian Genocide and became the founder of the Scout Movement in the Armenians' life and the disseminator of those ideas.

Always being faithful to the motto “Elevate Yourself and Others with You,” the Union found strength to get elevated as an Armenian-preserving factor in the Armenian communities of Diaspora. And throughout one century the Union genuinely did invaluable work through physical upbringing and spiritual-cultural education in raising generations with national self-conscience to public-political arena.

Dear Homenetmen ,

I am more than happy that we celebrate the 100^th jubilee of the establishment of the Union in the Motherland. Not being in Armenia during these days, unfortunately, I cannot take part in the festive ceremonies.

Thus, from the far distance once again I congratulate you on the 100^th Armenian General Athletic Union. I wish that the Scout bright ideas will always guide you, perhaps far from the Motherland, but always live with the life of the Motherland and implement more joint programmes in Armenia and Artsakh, where hundreds and thousands of juniors of your age wait for you,” the congratulatory address by the RA NA President Ara Babloyan reads.
