Parliamentary Working Group for RA Electoral Legislation Reforms Holds Regular Sitting

On July 24, the Parliamentary Working Group created for the RA Electoral Legislation Reforms convened the regular sitting, which moderated the Representative of the RA NA ARF Faction Armen Rustamyan.

The RA NA Factions debated the recommendation by the NA Deputy Khosrov Harutyunyan, as well as summed up the recommendations voiced in the previous sittings.

Davit Harutyunyan talked about Khosrov Harutyunyan’s recommendation and noted that the parties taking part in the elections could present their pre-electoral programmes, the structure and the staff of the government through electronic system set out by the Central Electoral Committee for posting on the Committee website.

In the Working Group the recommendations of the NA Factions on the RA Electoral Legislation Reforms were debated and summed up in the previous sittings, and an agreement was reached on some part of it, and the other part would be additionally debated.

A decision was made to finally sum up and send all the recommendations to the Electoral Legislation Reforms adjunct to the RA Prime Minister.

At the next sitting the recommendations by the extra-parliamentary political forces and the civil society will be debated.

The next sitting of the Working Group will be held on July 27 at 12:00: it will moderate the RPA representative.
