On March 22 RA NA President Artur Baghdasaryan received the delegation led by Eduard Rossel, Governor of the Sverdlovsk region, comprised of the representatives of legislative and executive authority of the Sverdlovsk region.

In the basis of the meeting the inter-regional cooperation problems were discussed. RA NA President Artur Baghdasaryan noted that inter-regional center affiliated with RF opened in Armenia, the productivity of activity of which can greatly promote the Sverdlovsk region. The cooperation with the Legislative Assembly of the region was highlighted in the sense of exchange of legislative experience and information. The Parliament President called for activating the economic ties, taking into consideration that either Armenia or the region has real opportunities of deepening the trade economic ties to restore the joint economic market. The opportunities of the fulfillment of concrete projects in the sphere of science, education and culture were also discussed. 15000 Armenians live in the Sverdlovsk region and the Parliament President highlighted their full integration into the social-economic life of the region.

Eduard Rossel, Governor of the RF Sverdlovsk region, presented the life of the region, the functions of all the circles of management system and the spheres, where cooperation of mutual interest can be created with Armenia. The sides achieved an agreement on exchange of delegations for studying experience of each other on places. In particular, the exchange of legislative experience between Legislative Assembly and National Assembly, which will include the study of more optimal models of the state management system was highlighted.

During the meeting other problems of mutual interest were also discussed.
