On September 28, the RA NA President Ara Babloyan took part in the opening of the International Conference BRAIN 2018 dedicated to the modern problems in neurology and neurosurgery in Radisson Blu Hotel. Those responsible for the sphere from Armenia, USA, Russia, Canada, Germany and Switzerland took part in the event.
Welcoming the participants of the Conference, the RA NA President Ara Babloyan has underlined that the reforms being implemented in the medical high educational, as well as continuous post high educational spheres are greatly highlighted in Armenia, by which the development procedure of neurology and neurosurgery in our country will be conditioned.
The Head of the RA NA especially thanked the initiators of the event: the Chairman of the Armenian Neurologists’ Association, Professor Gurgen Hovhannesyan, Professors Mikael Skon Muratoghlu, Viken Babikian, Biayna Sukhudyan and all the participants, who arrived in Yerevan to present their experience, as well as to get acquainted with the achievements of Armenia’s doctors in neurology and neurosurgery.
“I am thankful for the honour given to me to address the Conference with opening remarks. I am sure that it is conditioned by the reality that I am the co-author of the elaboration of the laws and making legislative amendments which are aimed at the provision of the doctors’ professional continuous development in Armenia. I believe that in that aspect this Conference corresponds with all international standards,” the Head of the RA Parliament underlined.
The Head of the RA legislative body wished the participants fruitful work, expressing hope that the three-day International Conference being convened with the participation of the high qualified specialists would serve to its goal and become a platform of contact, cooperation, exchange of experience and designing of different programmes.
