On November 7, the RA NA Standing Committees convened sittings.

The RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Rustam Makhmudyan in the first reading debated the draft law on Amending the RA Criminal Code authored by the RA NA deputy Edmon Marukyan.

The Member of the Committee Gevorg Petrosyan and the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Artak Asatryan presented their viewpoints on the draft law.

The draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Provision of Security of Road Traffic and the enclosed legislative package presented by the RA Deputy Head of Police Hovhannes Kocharyan was debated in the first reading.

The draft laws on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Freedom of Rallies on Making Addenda on Provision of Security of the Persons Subject to Special State Protection authored by the RA NA deputy Mihran Hakobyan were debated.

The bills of the fourth session of the NA sixth convocation endorsement of the Committee were included in the draft agenda of the NA regular sittings.

The draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Civil Procedure Code was also debated in the first reading.

The MP Sergey Bagratyan and the RA First Minister of Justice Artur Hovhannisyan expressed their viewpoints on the draft law.

The debate of the issue was postponed until on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Criminal Code authored by the RA NA deputy Arpine Hovhannisyan was also postponed.

On the same day at the regular sitting the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment moderated by Vardevan Grigoryan debated the draft law on Amending the RA Law on State Administration System Bodies, which presented the Deputy Minister of Agriculture Garnik Petrosyan.

The draft law with the endorsement will be included in the draft agenda of the NA upcoming regular sittings.

The debate of the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to teh RA Land Code was postponed by the authors’ proposal.

Due to the lack of quorum the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security was not held.
