Sittings of RA NA Standing Committees Held

On November 12, the RA NA two Standing Committees convened sittings.

The RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Khosrov Harutyunyan debated the draft law on the RA State Budget for 2019.

The Committee Chair has touched upon the peculiarities of the document, noting that a document compiled in programme budgeting format is presented and proposed to endorse the draft law.

The RA Deputy Minister of Energy Sub-Structures and Natural Resources Vardan Gevorgyan presented for debate in the first reading the legislative package, which was endorsed.

The package of bills on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Law on Commercial and the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Winning Games, Games with Internet Winning and Casinos was debated in the first reading. The author of the initiative, the RA NA deputy Hrachya Hakobyan presented the package of bills.

The Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan has noted that their recommendations are based on the applications addressed to him and publications of the press and the regulations are in the legislative package.

Afterwards the draft law on Recognizing Invalid the RA Law on Lotteries and the enclosed package was debated in the first reading.

According to the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Karen Tamazyan, there are expressions for specification and clarification and technical gaps in the package of the draft laws.

On the same day at the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs the draft law on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Insurance and Insurance Activity and the enclosed package of bills was debated in the second reading. According to the Deputy Chairman of the RA Central Bank Vakhtang Abrahamyan presented the main goal of the regulations.

By Gagik Minasyan’s presentation, the deputies debated the draft law on the RA State Budget for 2019.

The RA Acting Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan highlighted the contribution of the programme budgeting by the efforts of the NA Staff and with the involvement of the government.

The draft law was endorsed for being included in the draft agenda of the NA Session.

The Committee heard and endorsed the report on the works done in the third quarter of 2018. presented by the Coordinator Expert of the RA NA Budget Office Gagik Barseghyan.
