At November 30, the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs in the first reading debated the draft law authored by the RA NA deputy Tigran Urikhanyan on Making Addendum to the Family Code, which moderated the Deputy Chair of the Committee Rustam Makhmudyan.

In his speech Rustam Makhmudyan called on his colleagues to vote for the recommendation.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Manukyan opined that the position of the government was negative. The NA deputy Gevorg Petrosyan has highlighted the affirmation of the provision excluding the legal indefiniteness, as the settlement is realted to the national security.

Tigran Urikhanyan proposed the government to revise its position, and the initiative was endorsed by the Committee.

Due to the lack of the quorum, the sittings of the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security, on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport and on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, on Agriculture and Environment were not held.
