Ruben Rubinyan and Sergey Kopirkin Discuss Issues on Rise of Cooperation Efficiency in Integration Associations

On February 19, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Ruben Rubinyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia Sergey Kopirkin.

During the meeting Ruben Rubinyan highlighted the allied relations with Russia, underlined the role of parliamentary diplomacy in the transparency of relations and maintenance of mutual understanding.

In this context the sides also touched upon the existing formats of parliamentary cooperation formed between Armenia and Russia and noted the importance of the use of necessary tool of sets for boosting the effective cooperation of the relevant committees of the two countries’ parliaments.

Other issues concerning the inter-parliamentary cooperation were also discussed, and regularly holding of joint sittings was emphasized.

The sides also talked about the rise of cooperation efficiency in the integration associations being as a common platform.
