Meetings of Head of the ARF Europe Armenian Cause Committee

On March 12, the Head of the ARF Europe Hai Dat/Armenian Cause Committee Office Gaspar Karapetian had meetings with the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Ruben Rubinyan, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport Mkhitar Hayrapetyan.

Taking into consideration the experience and skill of the Hai Dat Office the Armenian parliamentarians underlined the close cooperation with the structure on the issues of great significance for our country.

Talking about the RA-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement the interlocutors highlighted the quick ratification as soon as possible by the parliaments of the EU Member States.

During the meeting the activity of the Armenian delegations on the international parliamentary platforms and the elections of the European Parliament to be held in the near future was also touched upon.

The Head of the Bright Armenia Faction Edmon Marukyan, members of the Faction Taron Simonyan, Ani Samsonyan and Anna Kostanyan also met with the Head of the ARF Europe Hai Dat/Armenian Cause Committee Office.

Edmon Marukyan has emphasized the active cooperation with the Office, noting that the organization with its daily works always supports the Armenian delegations.

The sides reaffirmed the necessity of the deepening of the existing partnership, as well as discuss issues on further cooperation.

On the same day the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs Naira Zohrabyan met with Gaspar Karapetian.

The Chair of the Standing Committee presented the issues concerning the agenda of our country, on which active work should be done in PACE and the European Parliament. Naira Zohrabyan has noted that the joint operative work with the NA, the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora and their response is necessary on some issues existing in those structures.

The sides touched upon the active ties and contacts between the political forces and the Armenian Cause Committee Office represented in the RA National Assembly.

According to Naira Zohrabyan, it is necessary to make a change in the joint work with the international delegations and Diaspora structures, to invest new and flexible mechanisms, involving the Armenian wide lobbyist circles for more effectively presenting and defending the prior problems of the RA external agenda on the international platforms.

The Executive Director of the ARF Europe Hai Dat/Armenian Cause Committee Office Heghine Evinian also attended the meeting.
