On April 21 Artur Baghdasaryan, RA NA Speaker had a telephone talk with Pier Ferdinando Casini, Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Italy. The speakers of the two parliaments discussed issues related to the development of the Armenian-Italian relations and political partnership.

By the proposal of Artur Baghdasaryan, RA NA Speaker, the sides touched upon the possibility of the discussion of the Armenian Genocide recognition issue in the Parliament of Italy.

During the telephone talk an agreement was reached with Pier Ferdinando Casini, Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Italy, on the official visit to Armenia, within the framework of which festival of the Italian art was envisaged.
