On September 24, on the invitation of the RA NA My Step Faction Hamazasp Danielyan the Chairman of the RA Central Electoral Commission (CEC) and the delegation led by the Chairperson of the CEC of the Republic of Georgia Tamar Zhvania.

Welcoming the guests in the National Assembly the MP underlined the necessity of cooperation between the two countries and the exchange of experience, indicating the usefulness of the electoral process of the neighbouring country in terms of the capabilities' development.

Hamazasp Danielyan also briefly presented the current procedure of the electoral reforms and the priorities of the problems.

Touching upon the last parliamentary elections held in Armenia the MP informed that they went on in accordance with the established democratic standards.

The Chairperson of the CEC of the Republic of Georgia Tamar Zhvania presented the electoral processes of their country and the strategic programme of the activity of the structure led by her. She also touched upon the financial regulations of the parties and candidates.

Tamar Zhvania has informed that they regularly organize courses for the voters.

Hamazasp Danielyan noted that they would attentively observe the developments and innovations of the national elections being made with the next amendments of the Electoral Code in Georgia.
