Ruben Rubinyan Receives Ambassador of China to Armenia

On December 13, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Ruben Rubinyan and the Committee Member Sos Avetisyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Armenia Tian Erlong.

Tian Erlong, who initiated the meeting, expressed his thankfulness to the Armenian Parliament for ratifying the Agreement on Mutual Elimination of Visa Requirement for Persons with Ordinary Passports between the Government of the Republic of China and the Government of the People's Republic of China and noted that it would promote in particular the increase in the number of tourists.

The interlocutors discussed issues on the agenda of cooperation between Armenia and China and perspectives of development, recorded the dynamics of cooperation in a number of spheres, and highlighted the deepening of cooperation in the parliamentary format.

The perspectives of cooperation between the similar committees of the two parliaments were touched upon and the mutual visits were emphasized.

The Ambassador presented the dynamics, the strategy and foreign policy priorities of his country.

The parties also touched upon the development of cooperation in the sphere of economy.
