Cognitive Visit to RA National Assembly

On December 16, within the framework of the cognitive visit the pupils and the teachers of the Secondary School of Sis Community of Ararat marz visited the National Assembly. They took a tour in the parliament, were in the Session Hall and got acquainted with the history of the legislative body.

The deputies of the NA My Step Faction Sona Ghazaryan and Hamazasp Danielyan met with them.

The legislators presented to the guests the structure of the parliament, told them about the activities of the Standing Committees and the MP, introduced them to the revision, debate and the adoption procedures of the draft laws.

In the establishment and development of the international relations Sona Ghazaryan underlined the importance of the parliamentary diplomacy. In the legislative-executive relations the MP considered important the distinct implementation of the oversight functions of the parliament. In her opinion, the so-called anti-tobacco law adopted recently, will promote to get rid of the bad custom of smoking, which is one of the motivations of healthy way of living.

Hamazasp Danileyan spoke about the importance of the Mother Law of the country, the Constitution. According to him, the referenda of the constitutional amendments in 2005 and 2015 were organized with violations, many people were indifferent and did not take part, and in most cases sums of money were given by the ruling force in order them to vote. He stressed the importance of making constitutional amendments.

In response to the question “What future do you see for children?” Sona Ghazaryan has noted that she wishes that the children live in such Armenia, where their innermost dreams will become a reality. As Hamazasp Danielyan has assured, all the conditions are created in order the citizens find their happiness in near future in Armenia, but not in another country. He urged the pupils to become the owner of the community and the country.

The pupils and the pedagogues shared with their impressions and considered important the meetings with the parliamentarians.
