On March 2, on the initiative of the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs a working discussion was held on the theme The Problems of the Process of the AIDS Prevention Republican Centre SNCO and Nork Infectious Clinic Hospital CJSC Association of Health Ministry.

As the Committee Chair Narek Zeynalyan has informed, documents with signatures of 80 medical workers and 156 beneficiaries of the AIDS Prevention Republican Centre have been received.

The Acting Secretary General of the RA Ministry of Health Lusine Kocharyan has noted that the goal of uniting the two centres is the effective owning of the legal entities’ persons, the laboratory diagnosis strengthening, the efficiency of the medical equipment use and the rise of productivity, the optimization of the administrative infrastructures, the coordinated and effective organization of the works of the health system organizations.

The representative of the Ministry has not denied the observation of the RA NA deputy Lusine Badalyan that an attempt is made for the re-equipment of the hospital in this way.

The HIV infection bearer Arman Avchyan has expressed concern on the association process of the centres, noting that the awareness of the society is not sufficient in order they can make use of the same hospital with the others.

The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs noted that the viewpoints of the parties would be summed up, a protocol would be made and the viewpoint of the Committee would be presented to the Government.
