The Armenian-Syrian Ties at the New Stage of Development
On September 16, RA NA President Artur Baghdasaryan received Mukhlis Pharaun, the Syrian charge d' affairs in Armenia.
During the meeting the problems of Armenian-Syrian cooperation were discussed. NA President expressed his gratitude to the Government of Syria for the kind attitude displayed towards the Armenians.
During the meeting the issue of participation of Syria for the opening of the Arabian Cultural Centre in Yerevan was also discussed. By request of Mr. Pharaun, Artur Baghdasaryan presented the process of the constitutional amendments implemented in Armenia.
Other issues were also touched upon during the meeting.
