A Number of Draft Laws Regulating Spheres Passed

The Government proposes to make amendments and addenda to the RA law on Petitions. At February 11 sitting, the initiative was debated in the first reading. According to the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Vahe Danielyan, from now on the persons presenting petition can note about not issuing the petition.

The package of bills designing amendments and addenda to the law on Prevention of the Illness Caused from HIV and on the RA Criminal Code was also debated in the first reading. According to the RA Deputy Minister of Health Lena Nanushyan, the cases of providing he Data being Considered Medical Secret on the HIV status are established.

To remove gaps existing in the legislation the parliament debated in the first reading the amendment and the addendum being proposed to the law on Trade and Services. As the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Varos Simonyan informed the discrepancies caused in consuming the liquidized hydrocarbon gases would be regulated. The functions of the management of the spectre of the frequencies of he governmental importace deisgned for the needs of maintaining the state bodies, the RA defense, the state security and public order would be regulated with the addenda being designed in the law on Electronic Communication.

The amendments and addenda being proposed in the law on Public Bargaining are conditioned by the necessity of creation of more effective and modern ways of the processes for organizing business circulation.

And from now on the Secretariat of the Public Council will provide its activities by the amendments being proposed in the law on Public Council. It will be included in the sub-division of the Prime Minister’s Staff Structure.


The draft laws were debated and passed at February 11 sitting of the parliament.

Covering the agenda the parliament ended the work of the regular sittings.
