Ararat Mirzoyan’s Statement on Maral Najarian’s Release from Azerbaijani Captivation

Our compatriot Maral Najarian was released from Azerbaijani captivity and now she is in Lebanon. In relation to this I want to thank the Speaker of the Federation Council of the RF Federal Assembly Valentina Matviyenko, who responded to all NA female deputies’ letter initiated by Tatev Hayrapetyan and personally to my request, and assumed a role of mediator in releasing Maral as soon as possible.
I am going to propose the NA Council to give Mrs. Matviyenko the NA Medal of Honor.
I am hopeful that joint efforts with our colleagues will allow urgently returning all prisoners of war and the captive persons.
