On September 30 NA Speaker Artur Baghdasaryan received the delegation headed by Leonid Gulyako, Minister of Culture of Belarus, which is in Armenia within the frameworks of holding Days of Culture of Belarus in Armenia. The ambassadors of the two countries, Marina Dolgopolova and Suren Harutiunyan, were present at the meeting.

During the meeting both sides highlighted the deepening of the cultural ties, exchange of cultural groups, organization of tours between the two countries. Mr. Gulyako noted that the Armenian artists successfully participated in the festivals of “Slavyanski Bazar” of Vitebsk and Brest and presented art of high quality. It was noted that in 2006 Days of Armenian Culture will be organized in Belarus.

NA Speaker Artur Baghdasaryan wised success the Days of Belarusian Culture and expressed readiness to promote the development of cultural ties between two countries.
