On April 6, the RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan, the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Avag Avanesyan, the Chairman of RA State Revenue Committee (SRC) Edvard Hovhannisyan made their reports on the Implementation of the Procedure and the Results of the Government Programme for 2020 at the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs .

According to the Minister of Finance, presenting the report in the parliament is a new institute: such report was presented for the first time in 2020. This year an attempt was made to maintain the same logic of presenting the implementation too, which was last year.

The Minister underlined that the public financial management reform strategy was passed by the Government in which the main reforms were outlined: “The strategy has included 14 fields in which 27 components with 57 targets and 63 final output indices of the implementation are included”.

Presenting the events implemented by the Ministry of Finance, it was noted that 4 events were envisaged for 2020 with its directions. It refers to the macroeconomic forecasts and budgetary indices, state income policy, strategic planning, preliminary control on the procedure of the budget execution, state debt and the private sector accounting.
