At April 7 regular sitting, the NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs debated in the first reading the legislative initiative on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on Remuneration of Persons Holding Public Positions and Public Service Positions.

According to the Acting Head of the Civil Service Bureau of the RA Prime Minister Staff Vache Kalashyan, it is proposed to define some social guarantees for the persons who hold public positions and public service positions taken part in military actions for Artsakh as a volunteer or by a conscription during the martial law, especially to maintain their basic salary and not to apply the provisions on the suspension of the basic salary growth or reduction of the salary in case of evaluating the annual report negatively.

It is proposed, pursuant to Article 14.3, to provide the defined surcharge for the SRC investigators not for the title, but for a class rank based on the regulations of the law on Tax Service by another amendment.
