Issues on Armenian-Kazakh Inter-Parliamentary Relations Discussed

On April 23, the Head of the RA NA Armenia-Kazakhstan Friendship Group Vagharshak Hakobyan hosted the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bolat Imanbayev to our country.

Vagharshak Hakobyan highlighted the further development and deepening of the inter-parliamentary ties of the relations between the two countries. The deputy referred to the necessity of the development of the cooperation in the humanitarian, cultural, touristic and economic spheres. The Head of the Friendship Group presented details on the political agenda of our country, implementing reforms and expecting snap parliamentary elections.

The Ambassador Bolat Imanbayev expressed readiness to strengthen the friendship ties historically formed between the two countries. According to him, there was a growth in a trade turnover even amid COVID-19. The Ambassador highly assessed the role of the Armenian community in Kazakhstan in terms of development of the bilateral ties.

The parties discussed the perspectives of the cooperation and presented the existing priorities in the integration directions in the framework of the EEU, CSTO PA and IPA CIS.
