Pupils and Teachers of High School N29 are in NA

On May 4, the RA NA Vice President Vahe Enfiajyan met with the pupils and teachers of Andranik Margaryan High School N 29 in the framework of the RA NA Open Lesson programme

“You present a symbolic school for me. I have studied at school N30 which has been reunited with the school N29 later and today they carry out joint activities. Your school had famous graduates. I am sure that the names of many of you will be in that original, interesting list of people,” Vahe Enfiajyan said.

He presented to the schoolchildren the structure of the parliament, the activity of ruling and opposition factions that are included in the parliament, the work of the standing committees and procedures of drafting, debating and passing the bills.

The schoolchildren’s questions mainly referred to the expected changes in the education system, the security of the country and the snap elections expecting in the near future.

The pupils of High School have spoken about the issue on returning to the 10-year education system, noting that the 12-year education system is not very effective. Vahe Enfiajyan said that the issue on the efficiency of Bologna system was discussed many times. The NA Vice President highlighted the circumstance of correctly orienting when choosing a profession.

Vahe Enfiajyan also touched upon the implemented amendments to the Law on Conscription, clarifying the issues in which the pupils were interested.

The pupils observed the works of the sitting held in the parliament from the box of the NA session hall, were photographed in the session hall and visited the library and the museum.

They were also interested in the history of the National Assembly, the architecture of the building related to which they received brief information and got acquainted with the exhibits and souvenirs presented in the NA museum.
