Parliament Debates a Number of Initiatives in Second Reading

As the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Armen Hovhannisyan has presented, the draft law on Amending the RA Criminal Code authored by the Government was debated in the second reading. It was noted that the bill had not been under changes in the content, and amendments of only editorial character had been made.

The draft law on Amending the Law on Advertising also was debated in the second reading. According to the RA Deputy Minister of Finance Armen Hayrapetyan, after passing the draft law in the first reading the draft law has not been amended.

The Government proposes the to apply the hourly definition instead of 20% website amount towards the advertising of the lotteries being carried out through news website, envisaging that advertisements can be done during the period from 22:00 to 07:00.

The legislative package on Rights of Persons with Disability and designing addenda and amendments to a number of enclosed laws co-authored by the RA Government and the deputies Narek Zeynalyan, Heriknaz Tigranyan, Lusine Badalyan, Arpine Davoyan, Hrachya, Arsen Mikhaylov, Koryuin Mkrtchyan and Vanik Ohanyan was considered in the second reading.

As the RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Tatevik Stepanyan has informed, amendments of editorial character have been made from the first to the second reading, and the Government presented a proposal.

According to the Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee Edvard Hovhannisyan, the package of the bills on Making Addenda to the RA Tax Code and Making Addendum to the RA Law on RA Holidays and Memorial Days was debated in the second reading.

The Government presented recommendations in written form of technical character from the first to the second reading, on the basis of which the initiative was revised.

The bill on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Administrative Procedure Code and the legislative package on Amending the RA Law on Refugees and Asylum and on Making Amendment and Addenda to the RA Administrative Procedure Code was also considered in the second reading.
