At May 18 regular sitting, the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs debated the report of the NA Budget Office on the works implemented in the first quarter of the current year. As the Coordinating Expert Gagik Barseghyan informed, the Office received 44 inquires, 22 out of which from the deputies, 2 from the factions and 20 from the Standing Committees in the financial period. The inquires which were received in the first quarter of 2021 have been less than in 2020 which is due to the fact that the deputies receive some information in which they are interested in through the inquires carrying out on behalf of the committees and the factions. 122 references on the received inquiries were prepared and provided to the NA Speaker, his deputies, the committees, the factions and the MPs. 64 profile references were also prepared which contained information on the implementation of the expenditure items for the state budget for 2020 and the January-February state budget for 2021. They were also given to the NA Standing Committees, according to their activity sphere, as well as to the other NA bodies.

The studies of the office referred to the state duty, the main social-economic indicators, incomes and expenditures. Infographic references were prepared which contained analytical information for 3-4 years related to the above-mentioned one.

Though the deputies have positively assessed the work carried out by the Budget Office, they have noticed that the parliament does not use the analyses of the office enough. It was considered necessary to boost the dissemination of the information carried out by the Office through social networks.
