At June 30 extraordinary session, the Parliament debated in the first reading the package of draft laws on Making Addenda and Amendments to the Law on Territorial Administartion and the enclosed ones authored by the deputies Gevorg Papoyan and Lilit Stepanyan. The purpose of the proposed amendments is to increase the efficiency of the activities of marz governors and the staffs of marz governors, defining the accountability of the latter also to the Deputy Prime Minister coordinating the sphere by the Prime Minister’s assignment.

The RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Vache Terteryan introduced the endorsement of the executive body related to the package of draft laws, calling on his colleagues to vote for the legislative initiative.
