The Minister of Internal Affairs sent a letter to the Minister of Public Education in which it was said that the region of Etchmiadzin donated money to the fund of a statue being built in memory of soldiers and fighters fallen for freedom.

“With this, on the day of the first anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, I have the honour to send you 2712 rubles, collected in Etchmiadzin region for the fund of a statue being built in honour of soldiers and fighters fallen for Freedom by the letter of the commissioner of Etchmiadzin region N 1962 and by the decision of the board organizing the donation.”
