On July 30, the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Land Code authored by the Government was debated in the second reading at the NA extraordinary session.

The Deputy Head of the RA Cadastre Committee Narine Avagyan noted that after passing it in the first reading the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Vahe Ghalumyan and the Government presented the proposals. The key rapporteur noted that the revised draft law with the proposals had been introduced in the second reading.

Therefore, the demands on the payment of cadastre values in changing the purposeful importance of the plot are specified. Cadastre payment was not designed at the plot owner’s initiative while changing

the purposeful importance of the using plot for building the greenhouses, livestock, poultry, fruit-vegetable refrigerator preservation, agricultural product recycling farms and the fish breeding artificial lakes by the law in force.

Tatevik Gasparyan presented the endorsement of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment.

The parliament approved the draft law.
