On August 11, the work of the first session of the RA NA seventh convocation continued, having on the agenda the debate of the item of the election for the Chairs of the NA Standing Committees.

The member of the NA Civil Contract Faction Sergey Movsisyan presented the biographical data and activities of the candidate nominated by the Civil Contract Faction in the post of the Chair of the Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Vahe Ghalumyan.

First, Vahe Ghalumyan thanked the RA citizens for participating in the NA extraordinary elections. The candidate for the Committee Chair touched upon the functions of the Head Committee. The speaker has underlined that he has great experience in the sphere of local self-government. Touching upon the enlargement of the communities, he has noted that it is an important process and we shall go on with it.

The Chair of the Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Vahe Ghalumyan answered to the deputies’ questions.
