On August 11, the work of the first session of the NA eighth convocation was continued. The item of the election of the Chairs of the NA Standing Committee is on the agenda.

The NA Civil Contract Faction nominated Narek Zeynalyan as a candidate for the post of the Chair of the Standing Committee on Health Care.

The MP Lusine Badalyan presented the candidate’s biographical data and the passed path. During the NA previous convocation, the candidate for the Chair of the Head Committee has authored and co-authored 23 legislative initiatives. He is the author of 33 scientific articles.

In his speech, Narek Zeynalyan thanked the Civil Contract Faction for nominating his candidacy. The candidate referred to the works done by the Committee in the previous 2,5 years, underlining that due to the pandemic and war, one year passed in a tense atmosphere.

The candidate for the Chair of the Standing Committee on Health Care has called on the population not to give in to anti-vaccination propaganda and to be vaccinated, as it is the only effective way to fight.

The Parliament will continue the debate of the item on August 12, at 10:00.
