NA Vice President Ruben Rubinyan Receives RF Ambassador to Armenia Sergei Kopyrkin

On October 8, the RA NA Vice President Ruben Rubinyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Armenia Sergei Kopyrkin.

The Ambassador congratulated Ruben Rubinyan on being elected in the post of the RA NA Vice President and assured him that he would continue making efforts in the expansion of the allied relations of two countries.

The interlocutors highlighted the development of the Armenian-Russian friendly relations and talked about the deepening of the cooperation on the inter-parliamentary platforms. In this context Ruben Rubinyan considered positive the agreement on the systemized work of the inter-parliamentary delegations during the recent visit of the RA NA President Alen Simonyan to the RF.

The sides have emphasized the dynamic development of the ties between Armenia and Russia in all spheres and expressed conviction and the two sides are interested in the expansion and rapprochement of the cooperation. Its vivid expression is also the fact that the NA President Alen Simonyan visited the very Russian Federation for the first time in the post of the Head of Parliament.

Ideas were exchanged on the issues concerning the mutually beneficial relations in the spheres of economy and nuclear energy.
