On October 19, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security Andranik Kocharyan took part in the works of the online sitting of the CSTO PA Standing Commission on Defence and Security.

10 items were included in the agenda, and the debate of some of them were removed from the agenda for revision.

The Armenian side presented proposals on revision of the CSTO model law on Peacemaking Activity and Peacekeeping Forces based on the conclusions presented by the RA Ministry of Defense, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The proposals have been adopted by the CSTO PA Secretariat, and they are inclined to comply them to the RA legislation.

The CSTO model law on Peacemaking Activity and Peacekeeping Forces is revised in accordance with the CSTO PA activity program for the rapprochement and harmonization of the national legislation for 2021-2025 of the CSTO member states.
