NA Chief of Staff-Secretary General Presents Budgetary Allocations and Events for 2022 to Be Implemented

On November 3, a t the joint sitting of the NA Standing Committee s on State and Legal Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs, moderated by Vahagn Hovakimyan and Gevorg Papoyan, the deputies continued debat ing the draft law on the RA State Budget for 2022.

The NA Chief of Staff-Secretary General Vahan Naribekyan presented the financial allocations and the events to be implemented designed for the legislative body by the main financial document of the coming year.

According to Vahan Naribekyan, within the framework of the Provision of the Implementation of the RA National Assembly Authorities’ five events are designed to carry out.

5bln 992mln 324.000 AMD will be allocated to the NA with five expenditure events by the state draft budget for 2022, which is less from the presented budget request by about 9.3%.

5bln 488mln 300.000 AMD or 91.6% of the budget request was designed for the event the NA Activity Provision, Legislative, Analytical and Representation Services event. The budget request for 2022 compared with the specified budget for 2021 increased by 378mln AMD or by 7.4%, conditioned by the number of the mutual visits, the increase of the MPs’ payments within the framework of the parliamentary diplomacy expansion.

According to Vahan Naribekyan, 1mln 260.000 AMD will be directed to the event Training of the NA Staff State Servants.

The allocations being directed to the event Payments to the RA Membership to the International Parliamentary Organizations reduced by 10.3% conditioned by the amendment of the currencies: it will be 179mln 200.000 AMD.

Touching upon the necessity of parliament bodies and the Staff technical re-equipment, the NA Chief of Staff-Secretary General has noted that it is designed to allocate 72mln 900.000 AMD for the Event the NA Technical Equipment Improvement.

Vahan Naribekyan noted that a new implementation of the expenditure event to the Support to the Parties and Alliance of Parties in the amount of about 250mln 684.000 AMD was reserved to the RA National Assembly by the draft budget for 2022. Before this the event was implemented by the RA Prime Minister’s Staff.
