Cooperation with European Union to be Continued in Different Directions in 2022

On November 4, at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on European Integration and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs, the financial allocations on the European integration envisaged in the RA draft law on the RA State Budget for 2022 were debated.

The RA Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan presented the financial components of the cooperation with the European Union (EU). He has informed that 11 programmes with 54 events are involved in the draft of the state budget. There are also 7 sub-credit events under three programmes. According to the Minister, 81bln 173mln AMD are envisaged for it. The financing is 12bln 553mln AMD or 18.3% more than the budget approved in 2021. Tigran Khachatryan stated that from the allocations 32bln 976mln AMD are loan programmes, and 15bln 303mln AMD – grant.

The Minister of Finance also referred to the 2.6bln EUR large-scale financial support by the EU aimed at financing a number of other areas and budget programmes.
