On December 2, during the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs, the reference on the process of the implementation of the state budget for 2021 of the nine months was debated.

The RA Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan presented the main indicators and dynamics of external influences on them. In the first nine months of 2021, recovery trends were observed in the economies of the main partner countries of the RA.

The Coordinating Expert of the NA Budget Office Gagik Barseghyan submitted a report on the works carried out in the third quarter of 2021.

According to him, the office received 15 inquires in the third quarter of 2021, 2 of which from the deputies and 13 – from the Standing Committees. In general, during the nine months, 75 inquiries were received, 29 of which from the deputies, 42 – from the Committees.

During the nine months of 2021, the Budget Office prepared and provided the summarized description of the annual report on the RA state budget execution for 2020 to the NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and the summarized description of the reference presented to the Government on the RA state budget execution process of the first quarter for 2021 in established terms.

The rapporteur noted that during the nine months, the experts took part in the seminar organized by the UN on the theme Gender Budgeting, aimed at developing the capacities of the staff of the Budget Office. During the first half of the year, in order to develop the capacities of the staff of the Budget Office, the experts also participated in trainings aimed at developing professional skills.
