Opportunity to Be Given to Developers for Using Reusable Projects
1 / 2

At February 24 sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Vahe Hakobyan, the package of draft laws on Making Amendments and Addendum to the RA Tax Code and on Making Addendum to the RA Law on State Duty authored by the Government was debated in the second reading.

The RA Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Artur Manukyan informed that editorial amendments had been made, there had been no substantive amendment.

The main goal of the initiative is to increase the efficiency of tax administration, ensuring proper control over the calculation and collection of state duties. The bill changes the name of the thematic inspection carried out by the tax authority, which does not correspond to the type of activity or the type of tax with which that activity is carried out.

The draft law on Making Addenda to the Law on Urban Development was also debated in the second reading.

According to the RA Deputy Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Davit Grigoryan, the need for legislative amendments is conditioned by the requirement of the RA Government programme for 2021-2026 on the use of reusable projects for the construction of a large number of new residential and public buildings in the coming years.

The Committee endorsed the debated drafts.
