Arman Yeghoyan Receives a Group of Ambassadors Accredited to Armenia

On March 15, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Estonia to Armenia Riina Kaljurand, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Latvia Ingrida Leverence, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland Kirsti Narinen and the Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of Norway Helene Sand Andresen and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden Patrik Svensson.

Welcoming the guests Arman Yeghoyan highlighted the cooperation with the Nordic-Baltic countries in all directions.

During the meeting a number of issues on the regional security and stability were discussed. The Committee Chair particularly presented the security challenges created around Armenia. Arman Yeghoyan voiced about the provocations carried out by the Azerbaijani side towards the civilian population in Artsakh, as well as the artificial obstacles created in the restoration of the infrastructures of vital importance and in that issue emphasized the proper response of the international community.

The process of democratic reforms in Armenia was touched upon. Arman Yeghoyan valued the use of the rich experience of the counterpart countries in a number of spheres in Armenia. The guests expressed their support in strengthening democracy and confronting regional challenges.

The sides emphasized the effective use of the RA-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement.
