Third International Exhibition of Defense Technologies ArmHighTech 2022 Launches at Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex

On March 31, the Third International Exhibition of Defense Technologies ArmHighTech 2022 was launched at Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex.

The RA President Vahagn Khachaturian, the RA NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan, the RA NA deputies, the representatives of the Government, the Ambassadors, the specialists of defense and security technologies sphere, the specialists from different countries and numerous visitors took part in the event.

The RA NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan congratulated the attendees on the International Exhibition ArmHighTech and informed that the event was postponed in 2020-2021 for preventing the spread of coronavirus.

“Today we can document that the event succeeded. I especially would like to note the work of the engineers, scientists and the creative people, who worked day and night and made efforts, so that Armenia would have an industry of sufficient defense technologies, developing the vision in that direction,” the NA Vice President noted.

Highlighting the high technological product, the Deputy Speaker of Parliament urged the compatriots not to miss the exhibition. In this context he has underlined that the sphere of high technologies is one of the important directions outlined by the Government. Hakob Arshakyan added that the budgetary means being allocated to the defense technologies against 2018 had been multiplied.

After the official ceremony of the exhibition opening the high ranking officials took a tour in the pavilions and got acquainted with the presented exhibits.

50 companies take part in the exhibition. The purpose of the exhibition is to create a unique platform to promote and study the local market, to advance modern technologies and services, to find partners and investors, to establish cooperative relations and to strengthen partnerships.

The organizer of the exhibition is the RA Ministry of High-Tech Industry. The co-organizers are the RA Ministry of Defense, Yerevan Mathematical Machines Plant and Bizon Exhibition Companies Group BIZON CJSCs,
