On April 6, the President of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan received the Executive Secretary of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Sergei Pospelov.
With the framework of the CSTO Chairmanship the National Assembly made a proposal on holding the jubilee meeting dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Parliamentary Assembly in Yerevan in June.
At the meeting the sides also touched upon the Permanent Commissions of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly. The outgoing meeting of the CSTO PA Permanent Commission on Political Issues and International Cooperation will be held in the second semester of the current year.
At the core of the discussion there were also issues on the expansion of the structure of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
