One of the most important regulating bodies of our country the Competition Protection Commission, the honest and effective work directly promotes the economic development of the country: Anush Begloian said about this during the debate of the issue of the election of the member of the Competition Protection Commission.

The Civil Contract Faction nominated Anush Begloian’s candidacy, and the deputy of the same Faction Babken Tunyan presented the candidate’s biographical and professional data and the working activities.

To the candidate’s conviction, the competition boosts the innovation, the productivity and promotes the creation of the effective business environment, increases the investment attractiveness of the country, providing national and foreign investments, bringing use to the consumers.

In Anush Begloian’s opinion, despite the advantages of the competition, the anti-competition actions are still spread with two main reasons. The first one is the rooted business behavior, which restrains the competition, and the second – the normative regulations of the state or the intervention of the markets, which overloads and excludes the competition. She assured that these problems will be at of her activities. The candidate highlighted the protection of the intellectual property institute.

At the end of the speech Anush Begloian assured that in case of being elected unbiased, will not make any public comment on the current proceedings, will listen to all sides of the proceedings, will carry out the proceeding effective and on time. According to her, she will make decisions, which are equal to the nature of the entity’s behavior, and the caused damage, she will work transparent, making public the control results.

After voting the Chairman of the NA Counting Commission Narek Babayan informed that 67 deputies took part in voting. One ballot was recognized invalid. Anush Begloian was elected member of the Competition Protection Commission.

The RA NA Vice President Ruben Rubinyan informed that the factions With Honor and Armenia nominated Anahit Sargsyan’s candidacy in the post of the Competition Protection Commission. The deputy Hayk Mamijanyan should speak for presenting the candidate, but he was not in the hall. Pursuant to the law the NA Rules of Procedure, the debate of the issue was postponed.
